82 Lakeview Tract, Fawnskin, CA 92333

Property Description

Tucked deep in the San Bernardino National Forest, this well-kept Recreation Residence Cabin offers the kind of privacy, quiet, and mountain scenery that nature-lovers dream about. From the front deck and main living areas, you’ll enjoy a remarkable, unobstructed view of Snow Summit’s ski slopes, along with a peek-a-boo lakeview of Stanfield Marsh (or Baker Pond, as locals call it) — a rare combination of forest seclusion and wide-open vistas. Larger than most cabins in the program, the main level features a comfortable living room, kitchen, dining area, bedroom, and full bath. South-facing windows and a sliding glass door bring in abundant natural light and open directly to the expansive front deck — perfect for morning coffee, afternoon sunbathing, or gathering with friends under the pines. Upstairs, each side of the loft offers its own sleeping area plus a convenient half bath. The finished walk-out basement adds even more flexibility with a bunk area, full bath, and a generous storage closet for gear, tools, or seasonal items. This cabin easily sleeps up to 10 people, and the large driveway provides plenty of parking, making it ideal for extended family stays or weekend retreats. A unique advantage of Lakeview Tract: all cabins are on City water, with an annual water fee of approximately $350. The yearly USFS permit fee is about $2000. The next renewal is in January, 2029 with an extension of 30 years. If you’re looking for a true “cabin in the woods” — a place where you can step away from the noise of the city, breathe fresh mountain air, and enjoy forest privacy with a front-row view of Snow Summit — this delightful retreat is one you’ll want to experience
